Thank you for your interest to participate in the 2019 Carl Nielsen International Competition (thereinafter “CNIC 2019”).

This privacy policy defines and informs you of how the Odense Symphony Orchestra (thereinafter “OSO”), the organization that owns and manages CNIC 2019, uses and protects the information you submit when applying to participate in the competition via the website, or any other personal information you submit to the competition by email or any other form.

The processing of your personal data is governed by the Act on Processing of Personal Data (APPD) implementing Directive 95/46/EC on data protection (Data Protection Directive). It is also governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) which entered into force in Denmark on 25 May 2018. In order to proceed further with the application process you are requested to accept this privacy policy. Before doing so we strongly encourage you to read through it carefully.

As data controller the OSO will process your data in connection with the selection procedure of the competition. Your personal data may also be stored after the competition has been closed for the purpose of contacting you for other potentially interesting opportunities in the future.

Our applications platform provider Annabelle Olivieri Munroe (under the brand Video Recruit), with the registered seat of business at Prague 3, Jagellonská 1495/25, PSČ 13000, Czech Republic, and having Business Identification Number 69308462 (thereinafter “AOM”) will also process some of your personal data in its systems in connection with the competition’s application process.

Personal data processed may include your name, e-mail address, any audio-visual recordings of you playing your instrument and any other personal information requested during the online application process which you choose to provide to us and which may lead to your identification. Such personal data is accessible only to OSO, AOM, and OSO’s affiliates/companies/partners participating in running CNIC 2019. You agree to provide your personal data voluntarily.

You are entitled to request information related to the processing of your personal data by OSO or withdraw your consent to your data processing at any time. If you believe that your rights to protection of your personal data have been breached, you may contact OSO and ask for clarification and remedy of the breach, in particular to block access to your personal data, its correction, addition or removal.
